Frequently Asked Questions

What is PaperVerse?

PaperVerse is an AI-powered paper review platform that gives researchers instant, structured feedback on their work. You can link an arXiv paper or upload a private draft and receive a comprehensive AI review — covering methodology, clarity, technical rigor, novelty, and more — in just a few minutes.

How do I get started?

Create a free account, then either paste an arXiv URL to import a paper or upload a PDF of your draft directly. Once your paper is on the platform, click "Request AI Review" to receive detailed feedback within minutes.

What file formats and sources are supported?

PaperVerse supports PDF uploads for private drafts and direct arXiv imports via URL or arXiv ID. When you import from arXiv, we automatically extract the title, authors, abstract, and other metadata.

Is PaperVerse free to use?

Yes. Every account includes 3 free AI review sessions per month for private papers. Reviews of publicly listed arXiv papers are free and unlimited. Credit packs (15 for $5.99, 40 for $9.99) never expire.

How does the AI review work?

Our AI analyzes your paper across methodology and experimental design, clarity of writing, technical rigor, novelty, relevance to the field, and quality of references. You receive a structured review with overall rating, strengths, weaknesses, and actionable improvement suggestions.

How accurate and reliable is the AI feedback?

PaperVerse's AI is designed to complement — not replace — traditional peer review. It's trained on academic standards and provides consistent, bias-free feedback that catches common issues reviewers look for.

Is my unpublished paper safe on PaperVerse?

Yes. Private paper uploads are visible only to you. They are not shared with other users, not listed publicly, and not used to train our AI models.

How do I contact support?

You can reach our team at contact@paperverse.io. We typically respond within 24 hours.
